About the Experience

“Natural Synthesis” exists within special corner of the universe created just for you, just for this moment. The experience invites you to remember our connection to nature, even while in the center of a buzzing metropolis. Feel the tickle of ivy on your skin, the sound of birds chirping as the breeze rustles through the trees, the sweet smell of fresh flowers and earthy air in the forest… yet how fast that is being taken away by raging wildfires, rising ocean levels, melting ice caps, animal extinction, and all the not-so-natural disasters caused by ever rising global warming. This tension brings us face to face with the duality of nature’s current reality. 

As cities and urban living become the status quo, the times we spend connecting with our true nature have become fewer and farther between. The world grows bigger, time moves faster, and our existence consumes more resources, the environment and its biodiversity. Yet just as the earth is fragile, it is strong in ways we may never fully comprehend. The earth speaks its own language, and the interconnectedness of life weaves itself deeply through each of us. When we see ourselves not as “experiencing” nature - not even as reflected in nature, but truly as part of nature and one with our environment, we may take a greater appreciation towards our united, connected experience, and a greater sensitivity towards the destruction of the world, and of ourselves. 

Inspired by Celo’s innovative technology and their passion towards improving the environment, sustainability, and global prosperity, the experience invites you to explore the regenerative possibilities of the earth we live on, the climate we share, and the natural environment that we are part of. The exhibition features works by artists specializing in topics from machine learning and generative video to fantastical set design. 

Our installation is sustainably created and made largely out of natural elements which have been foraged from the surrounding landscapes and will later be returned.
